Musk Ox Farm

After attending this farm, changes were made to non-profit giving to help this cause.

Musk Ox Farm (located in Palmer Alaska) has a mission to educate and preserve this once endagered species that goes back to the Ice Age.

At the beginning of the 20th Century, the North American species were wiped out. This wooly mammal was reintroduced back to Alaska and Canada when species were obtained from Europe.

Qiviut (pronounced kiveeute) is a layer of wool is collected every Spring from the mammals is produced for yarn. This can be used as an alernative if you are allergic to wool.
